Comments: I really think I captured my favourite character.
The ghost of a breath of wind caressed a stray violet hair. She watched it curl silently in the dim misty air and was carried back to that evening when their skin had first touched and shimmered like wet silk.
'It can't end so soon!' she muttered, voice reedy as Dementor's breath. Lines of resolve formed in her eyes, and her hands clutched at nothing.
Dusk fell. It was raining outside and in her heart. Tendrils of pity wrapped her brow in their calming hands as a lightning brand of despair blazed in her soul.
'Wotcher, Hagrid,' Tonks had wept.

Comments: Much darker than my earlier work. I think I'm maturing.
Black lightnings of torment flashed like levin brands of pain through her tortured soul. Thick strands of dark hair flew electrically in the twilight gloom, and the mouldy air carried her back to their last meeting, keen nails against harsh cloth.
'No! It must not end like this!' she harshly croaked, tears of torment and fury. Through the fumes of despair she saw her future clearer than she had ever dared fear.
Outside, the storm raged. Their hearts were sundered like the scudding cloud and the gaunt treetops reeling like drunkards on Butterbeer.
'Damn your enchanted tongue, Winky,' Bellatrix shrieked.
