Lord Hillbeam of Brown writes
That's me. I was very pleased that a B.A. degree conferred a life peerage. Now I've never been much of a fan of these modern surname plus territorial titles, and my pleasure was momentarily alloyed by the realization that I didn't have the plain dignity of Lord Hillbeam, and I considered various options I could have used if I'd had a choice: Hillbeam-Brown, Hillbeambrown, Hillbrown. But evidently with a mere degree you don't get a choice; and that's fair enough. Anyway, I said it over a couple of times and looked forward to signing things as 'Hillbeam of Brown'.
I can't remember any of the rest of the dream, except that I'm pretty sure I'd been thinking of various car names I could have used in my Ken Livingstone joke (below), such as Hillman and Sunbeam, so that's where the name came from. Why Brown, I don't know. And will I get a choice with my M.A.?
uvaspina's self-portraits are always beautiful, but the current crop are possibly even better than most: do look, I pray.
